These three photographs show the conversion of the liner France IV into her appearance during World War One as a hospital ship. One is of the French liner FRANCE IV as produced by Mercator (M-417). The other two represent a simple conversion of the model to show France IV as a hospital ship in 1915. All that was done to the model was to repaint and decal it, as well as adding a few booms.
