No, this is not the Trumpeter 1:350 scale USS
Saratoga with prewar fittings and aircraft. This incredible model
is actually in 1:1250 Scale. Peter Ohm did not state if he scratch-built
this Saratoga or modified the Neptun model but either way, the detail in
this scale goes beyond superb. Peter did mention, "Don't
wonder why there are so many Lexington planes on the flight deck. It's simply
because actually I wanted to build Lexington first, which like the Saratoga
planes is still not ready yet, and painted Lexington planes first."
